Performance Notes

An exceptionally effective leg-power and core-strengthening movement which has surged in popularity for sports-training in recent years: it offers more “sports-functional” aspects than squats as the exertion is in a more horizontal direction, with legs alternating. And depending on the sled device used it can be done as either a pushing or a pulling movement. Going slowly with heavier weight is more of a strength builder, while “sprinting” with lighter loads develops power and quickness. Practice both.
