Performance Notes

A compound movement for strengthening all of the upper body “pushing” muscles. To emphasize the chest, keep the elbows flared out from the body and lean forward.  Leaning back and keeping the arms in tight will put more emphasis on the triceps.

Lower yourself until your shoulders are about even with your elbows -going lower can be risky for the shoulder joint. Avoid locking out at the top.  Keep your body from swinging by moving slowly and deliberately.
