Spring City, PA – WC Eagles Field Hockey Club announces its 17th graduating class of high school
seniors who will continue their field hockey careers at the collegiate level. These 48 student-athletes will
head to top NCAA Division I (42 players), Division II (3 players), and Division III (3 players) programs
in 13 states and the District of Columbia.

“Our Class of 2022 graduates are a talented group of student-athletes who are accomplished on the field
and in the classroom,” said Jun Kentwell, Co-Founder and Director of Coaching. “I am proud of each
player and look forward to watching them grow at the next level. I wish them well as they continue to
work hard to achieve their dreams athletically and academically.”

This group of players has succeeded on the high school field with many receiving All-American, All-
Region, All-State, All-Area, and All-Conference honors throughout their high school careers. In
addition, six of these players have earned selections to the following USA Field Hockey national teams:
U19 Rise—Lauren Kenah, Alaina McVeigh, Macy Szukics, Kylie Walbert; U21—Ryleigh Heck; and
the Women’s National Team—Ashley Sessa.

Founded in 2005, WC Eagles was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2008 with a
mission to provide elite field hockey training and to provide each of its players with critical life skills to
use in college, in the workforce, and in life. WC Eagles teams perform consistently on the national and
international level, most recently sweeping the last three National Club Championships in all age
groups. Its players and alumnae are well-represented on the USA Field Hockey national teams at all
levels. To date, over 550 WC Eagles student-athletes have committed to play collegiately with 81% at
the NCAA DI level (12% of which are Ivy League schools) and 19% at the NCAA DII/DIII level
including high-academic schools such as MIT, Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, and Rensselaer.
